Tiedemann Globe, Inc. is now a member of the Secondary Materials and Recylced Textiles Association (SMART).

The dynamic nature of the textile recycling industry constantly provides new challenges and SMART has responded with a variety of avenues to keep its members informed, educated and competitive. They include:

Small Business Legislative Council (SBLC) Weekly Update. The independent coalition of trade and professional associations share a common concern for the future of the small business; the 2011 SMART Annual Convention (February 27-March 1, 2011) in Manalapan, Florida.; a monthly e-newsletter, SMARTTalk, highighting industry current events, government issues and spotlighting member companies; membership invitation to join the Shippers of Recycled Textiles (SORT); access to SMARTTrader and SMARTLine forums for online trading and communications;

SMART said the greatest benefit of membership is networking and meeting people who share a common interest in the textile recycling business.
