Aaron Ames Promoted to Chief Operating Officer
Phoenix, AZ (April 16, 2010) Tony Tiedemann, president of Tiedemann Globe, announced today that Tempe resident Aaron Ames has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Ames, previously Vice President, Operations, was responsible for increasing warehouse production and efficiency, supervising safety rules, regulations and training employees.
His responsibilities will expand to include all aspects of operations. “Aaron will help us identify the best people to hire, determine staffing levels and be responsible for expansion,” Tiedemann said.
Ames joined Tiedemann Globe in 2004.
His other duties include OSHA compliance, designing training programs and videos and automobile sales.
A native of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Ames graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S.E. degree in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in Spanish. Passionate about physical fitness and competing in long distance races and other fitness challenges, Ames is currently a MBA candidate for Thunderbird School of Global Management.
