Ana Guizar, a Phoenix resident who has been employed by Tiedemann Globe, Inc. since April 5, 2007, has been named “World's Best Receptionist." She was given the award on July 7.

Guizar, the primary front office receptionist for the Phoenix-based company, was presented with a gift certificate and honored with a cake and party. About 15 co-workers were present. Recently, when two front office customer service representatives were on vacation, Guizar supervised the front office position singlehandedly.

Jessica Rodriguez, Guizar's supervisor, said the longtime staffer handles her daily responsibilities with exceptional composure. “It doesn't matter what the task is or how stressful it becomes,” Rodriguez said. “Ana is always calm and professional. She's a very hard worker and always so nice to customers and fellow employees. We're fortunate to have Ana on our team."
